IL-1β (rat) ELISA Kit: Colorimetric Assay for Quantitative measurement of rat IL-1 beta in serum, plasma & cell culture supernatants. Detection Range: 80 pg/ml - 50,000 pg/ml. 100 assays. BioVision’s rat IL-1 beta ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of rat IL-1 beta. This assay employs an antibody specific for IL-1 beta coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and IL-1 beta present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-rat IL-1 beta antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-1 beta bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: rat CINC-2, CINC-3, CNTF, Fractalkine, IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, GM-CSF, IFN-γ, Leptin, Lix, MCP-1, MIP-3α, β-NGF, TIMP-1, TNF-α. The intra-Assay reproducibility is CV<10% & inter-Assay is CV<12%. Sensitivity: 80 pg/ml. Detection Limit: 80 pg/ml – 50000 pg/ml. |
